PT PLN (Persero) and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (IPC) agreed to work together, to meet electricity needs in the area of Tanjung Priok port and other ports managed by Pelindo II. This is to improve the quality of power supply ports.
This synergy marked the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two sides on Thursday (4/12/2012) in Jakarta. The MoU was signed by Director of PLN, Nur Pamudji, the Director of Pelindo II, RJ Lino.
According to Senior Manager of Corporate Communications PT PLN, Bambang Dwiyanto, with a memorandum of understanding it, then both parties will immediately conduct a study together. The review covers the financial aspects, technical, commercial, legal and other aspects.
It is related to the cooperation plan distribution and sale of electric power to customers in the region of the ports managed by Pelindo II.
Synergy of the two state-owned enterprises will also be followed up, by forming a joint team to prepare a plan of cooperation, coordination with relevant parties, setting up the law and set up a cooperation agreement.
