Muamalat ATM Year 1000 Targets

Bank Muamalat targets have automated teller machines (ATMs) of 1,000 units this year. That way there will be a gain of 525 units during 2012. "We continue to increase until the end of 2012 we projected the number of ATM Muamalat reached 800 units," said Managing Director of Bank Muamalat, Arviyan Arifin, in Jakarta, Tuesday (03/04/2012).

He said the number of new ATM Muamalat of 172 units in 2010. In 2011, the number of ATMs increased again to 475 units. Therefore, in order to improve customer accessibility, Muamalat to return to the addition of as many as 325 ATM units to reach the total 800 units. However, Muamalat also plan to add back to 200 units in the second half if possible.

"If possible we will add 200 in the second semester. So 800 plus 200 will be 1000 units," added Chief Financial Bank Muamalat, Hendiarto.

Hendiarto also said the investment will be issued for 325 units of ATM Muamalat approximately USD 30-40 billion. In addition to ATM, Muamalat also will increase the number of branches around 100 outlets in capital expenditure amounting to Rp 100 billion.
