President Director of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Zulkifli Zaini was awarded as the Best Chief Executive Officer in Indonesia. The award was obtained from the Corporate Governance Asia.
Finance and Strategy Director of the bank also received an award from Corporate Governance Asia (CGA) as the Best Chief Financial Officer in Indonesia.
The awards ceremony invitation Kompas quoted on Thursday (3/29/2012), this award is recognition of the achievements of executives in the field of investor relations and business practitioners, both in government companies, private, and non-governmental organizations in Asia.
CGA conducted a survey questionnaire to 11 000 corporations from 14 countries in Asia as a respondent. The survey was conducted for six months, from March to September 2011.
The corporation was engaged in the financial industry. The plan, awards will be handed CGA on Friday (03/30/2012) night in Hong Kong.
"The award is given to individuals who have strong leadership in providing guidance to the board of directors and corporate management in developing the business as well as business ethics," as stated in the award ceremony invitation.
