Starting on Wednesday (4/11/2012) this morning until Friday next, green products exhibition titled "Greenright" opened at the Jakarta Convention Center. This event is going to educate all levels of society about the importance of applying the concept of green buildings in the making.
Naning Adiwoso, Chairperson Green Building Council of Indonesia (GBC-I) on Wednesday, said the implementation of the concept of green building has been urged. This is because buildings contribute to 40 percent of greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
Through the concept of green, energy-efficient building operations, water, and more healthful. In addition to various exhibits of green products, Greenright also presented the conference.
The speakers were the Minister of Environment Kambuaya Balthasar, Director Of A Green Asia Group Martin Blake, the architect Popo Danes, Yuyun Isnawati of Bali Focus, Nigel Grier from The Green Asia Group, Patrick M McKelvey of RNL Design, AIA, and Prof. Mark Luther of Deakin University.
