The government is proposing a budget of Rp 1 trillion to remove the licensing burden that is currently the main obstacles young entrepreneurs. With these funds can be created for 100 000 young entrepreneurs who already have a business license in full and have an initial capital of Rp 5 million to Rp 20 million per person.
"With these funds, a young entrepreneur will obtain a trade license number, taxpayer, to the Import Identity Number," said Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Coordination, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Edy Putra Irawady, Saturday (14/04/2012).
According to Edy, the government has provided assistance in every way to stimulate the youth labor force starting creative businesses, ranging from the application of simple technology, breeding of small businesses, access to capital sources, to develop entrepreneurship curriculum in schools. However, all this could not be successful young entrepreneurs to create new licenses if barriers are not removed.
Currently there are two options to resolve the licensing issues, ie it removes licensing for young entrepreneurs or the government provides a budget that is given to permit it. Currently, the official policy of the elected government is still in business licensing abolished.
"However, the move was never able to walk due to the elimination of licensing would clash with a lot of rules. On that basis, we propose in the Office of the Minister for Economic Affairs to lift the burden of funding the licensing of about Rp 1 trillion for the created 100,000 new young entrepreneurs who are ready to develop its business, "Edy said.
Currently, funding is needed to get a business license until all Business License and have limited liability status is about Rp 2.5 million, so as to give business licenses to 100,000 people needed Rp 250 billion. As for providing the initial capital, the government will allocate Rp 750 billion to be distributed between Rp 5 million - Rp 20 million per person.
Edy added that Indonesia is not yet take advantage of other sources of funding programs developed by international agencies in creating young entrepreneurs. "That number could be tens of millions of dollars per year. Among others, there are funds from the United Nations and ASEAN-Korea community. Problem was not yet proposed any business institution. This program is used by Vietnam," he said.
Meanwhile, Director of Home Economics People (RER) Taufik Amrullah target will gather 10 000 graduates of the entrepreneurship education programs as the government prepared a new group of entrepreneurs who are projected to have an independent business. They sought not only to grow the business to simply survive but to develop its economy to an advanced stage.
"They were not prepared to survive but how to get rich. For this, there are many young entrepreneurs who need pairing. For example, a creative entrepreneur developer of fuel-efficient stoves to the developers of snacks made from bananas," he said.
