Indonesia Have a Great Opportunity World Pulp Producers So

Indonesia has a great opportunity to be the world's pulp producers because Indonesia has a comparative advantage.

"Indonesia's pulp industry has a comparative advantage in the pulp industry compared to other countries. Shipment of exports to China from Indonesia to China only took 7 days. Meanwhile, from Europe takes 40-50 days, from U.S. 30 days, and from Latin America 40 - 60 days. So from the cost side, Indonesia has been excellent, "said Tony.

In addition to this, said Tony, in tropical countries like Indonesia, acacia plants can harvest every 4-5 years, while in sub-tropical countries take 20-25 years.

Tony explained, Indonesia's pulp production rose only 30 percent since 2005 while Brazil increased 69 percent. While pulp demand by China increased 139 percent since 2005. "Indonesia has not maximize the full potential," he explained.
